The film, starring Nicole Kidman and Javier Bardem as Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz, arrived on Amazon Prime Video December 21.

“Being the Ricardos” is officially streaming on Amazon Prime Video. After debuting in theaters earlier this month, the biopic chronicling the complex romantic and professional relationship between Lucille Ball (Nicole Kidman) and Desi Arnaz (Javier Bardem), was released on the platform December 21.

Written and directed by Aaron Sorkin, “Being the Ricardos” takes audiences behind closed doors, into the writer’s room, and onto the soundstage during a critical production week of the groundbreaking hit series “I Love Lucy.” The film, set in 1952, follows Ball and Arnaz through a series of personal and professional crises that includes everything from personal accusations to a political smear campaign, all of which threaten the power couple’s marriage and careers.

J.K. Simmons, Nina Arianda, Alia Shawkat, John Rubinstein, Clark Gregg, Jake Lacy, Linda Lavin, Tony Hale, and Ronny Cox are among the cast.

“Being the Ricardos” is streaming exclusively on Amazon Prime Video at no extra charge to Prime members. If you’re not already signed up for an Amazon Prime membership, now’s the time to join.
